Pediatric occupational therapy is a service focused to help children be able to complete daily activities in their lives aka their occupations. Well what are a child’s occupations?

Playing
Sleeping
Getting Dressed
Eating
Going to the Bathroom
Learning
Socializing
OT's assess each activity that a child might be struggling with, break down the tasks, then work on skills to be able to complete the activities in a way that makes sense for the child.
Does your child have difficulties with any of the following?
Bathing avoidance/poor hygiene
Clumsiness
Completing homework
Doing chores
Following instructions
Getting dressed or wearing clothes
Keeping endurance during play
Low frustration tolerance
Poor attention
Picky eating
Sitting still
Sleeping/falling asleep
Toileting
Understanding social skills
If so, they might benefit from skilled occupational therapy services.
